Boston, MA, June 12, 2008 – Garfield Group today confirmed hiring Digitas executive and Web 2.0 technology evangelist, Dean Whitney, as president of Boston-based Garfield Group Interactive (GGI)

Whitney, 38, will lead the online digital interactive division of Garfield Group and report to Garfield Group CEO, Larry Garfield. “As advertising becomes increasingly digital, online and conversational, it’s critical that advertising, PR and interactive provide integrated solutions,” says Larry Garfield, CEO, Garfield Group. “Whitney brings vast experience that is both strategic and tactical.”

As GGI president, Whitney will oversee expansion of the interactive group and integration with Garfield Group branding and public relations divisions. (more…)
